Thanks to a killer team of volunteers, BrewCast.TV has approached a unique level of professionalism. All contributer's thus far have been graduate students at the acclaimed S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication at Syracuse University in New York.

Chris Flannagan

Host, Producer, Copy Writer, Editor and Creator

Chris started this site out of his sheer love for beer, new media and video. He has been a freelance internet developer for 10 years. Finishing grad school with a M.S. in Media Management, he will be moving onto a web administrator position in Sarasota, Fl. Homebrewer, beer lover, ninja and music lover, Chris is a great match for such a project as BrewCast.TV.

Favorite Beers: Westy 12, Rochefort 10, 3 Floyds Gumballhead, Ithaca Cascazilla, Rodenbach Grand Cru and so on

  

Will Elkins

Director of Flimography

Will Elkins has years of experience in digital videography. He graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media with an emphasis in Digital Media Arts and Technology. Several of his video productions have won critical acclaim both academic and professional. He currently studies for a Master's degree at Syracuse University and works as an Instructional Assistant for Communication Law for TV/Radio/Film. As with any true college student, he minors in beer-ology.

Though it wasn't to Christianity, Will was converted by the Belgian Trappist monks to a new level of consciousness. His life was changed for the better from that day forward. A global beer enthusiast, Will sees no reason why he should turn his back on any brand or style of beer. From Abbey Dubbel to Zwickel, he keeps an open mind and most importantly gullet to whatever beverage he finds at hand. Will always hopes "the camera-guy" isn't forgotten when the pints get poured. He is currently working on a pub coaster and beer logo collage piece.

Kristin Smith

Director of Still Photography

Kristin, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area graduated from William Woods University in 2008 with a double major in journalism and English. She realized writing didn't inspire her so began to turn to photography and has never looked back. She finishes with a M.S. in Photography from Syracuse University in August 2009 and is available for work anywhere in the country (or internationally). Her passion for storytelling only continues to strengthen. She has traveled out of the country every year since before she was 10-years-old and is constantly reminded of the beauty of the world we live in.
